I am looking for an excellent quality diamond to set to an solitaire cathedral setting. I just want something simple but it seems there are just so many options out there and I cannot make a decision. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

A lot of prosumers on here know more than I do, but here were the proportion guidelines that they gave me when I was looking -
Depth: 60-62.4%
Table: 54-58%
Crown angle: 34-35 degrees (can go up to 35.5 if paired with 40.6 pavilion)
Pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9 degrees

Looks like you could find a better performing stone. If you post your budget, others on here can help you look for something amazing!

Unless there's a specific reason you're looking in the VVS range, I suggest going to the VS range to get more bang for your buck. You can easily find a VS1-2 that's eye-clean.
