I'm not sure about the cut of the stones in the outer rows - they aren't MRB cuts as they have too few facets under the table. Perhaps @diagem, @Karl_K or one of the other expert posters could offer their expert opinion on whether they are a historic cut?

The prettiness is entirely a personal judgement so I can't really comment on that, but if it really is 1.6ctw of better-than-eye-clean, colourless stones, the price seems very reasonable to my non-expert mind.

I have a sister to this ring. The rounds look like single cuts. I had my ring appracsed by a PD recommeded appraiser wihtin the last year. Here's the text. Visually, I'd say the IvyRose ring looks like it has more numerous diamonds per row than mine.

These are single cuts, the price is definitely fair. It wouldn't be a ring that I would get, but rings styles are totally personal. If you like it- go for it. You can always see it in person and return it, if you don't love it.

I wish I could post some. My parents are very conservative. My dad was raised by two generations of Jewish survivors of purges in Russian and Germany. You don't "tell" or "show" people what you have or they might take is away. So, my parents extracted a promise from me that I would not publicly post pictures of their or family/heirloom items. Sigh. While I'm a big girl over the age of 40, I need to respect my parents wishes. This ring is a family piece, so while I can describe it, I can't share pictures.

I like it - it's a substantial chunk of bling! It looks good in the picture too and seems like a decent price. It's showing as sold out now - did you buy it? Post pictures if you did!

To me it looks like some of the baguettes are not cut or set exactly parallel within the setting... that might be part of its charm, or it might bother you.

Yea single cuts, it looks like it has been resized at one point.
The first thing I would do is verify that all the stones are tight.
