Opinions needed on competing rounds

Hello everyone - My diamond knowledge is very limited and would greatly appreciate some opinions on these two stones. They both appear eye clean. The SI1 scored a 1.9 on the HCA and the VS2 scored a 4.4.  The VS2 is a 3Ex, and the SI1 Symmetry is Very Good on the GIA certificate. Which is the better cut? Better value for the money? Which would you purchase?  Any opinion and advice is appreciated!!

Reject rounds that score over 2.0.
Compare the Idealsope pic of those that score under 2.0 to this chart:

Thanks for the opinion. Any comments on the 1.5?

I would definitely go with the 1.5 ct. If it scores over a 2.0 then it's not going to be a good diamond. Also, the 1.5 is bigger! haha and not for too much more money.

As long as it is eye-clean to your standard, I would go for the 1.5c.
