First, thanks to all of those who make this site a great resource for people like me.

I would appreciate the forums thoughts on this diamond. I'm 'thinking' it's good to proceed with but then again I'm far from an expert. Should I be requesting other images?

Thanks!

It looks great. Go for it.

has a huge cloud. consider another stone.

looks like a diamond that barely makes it to a VS2 grade. given the amount of inclusion reflections, it seems to fit an SI1. performance wise, this is a great stone.

I'm being told it is eye clean, do you think that is feasible based on the photos/data?

If WF says it is eye-clean, it is eye-clean to their definition. Make sure your definition and theirs matches up.

Thanks JulieN..! Appreciated.

Would you mind sharing your thoughts, yes/no?

I think it is going to be stunning!

it should be eye clean. only think that i wouldn't like is that i am paying the price of a vs2 for an si1 looking diamond.

if you are not in a rush, keep looking.

Whiteflash told my husband (bf at the time) that the diamond he was getting me was eye clean but it clearly had a black mark on it. I would go with another stone.

+1

I think it's important to consider what YOUR definition of eye clean is. Is it from noraml viewing distances face up? Or do you prefer not to see anything from 6 inches from the top and from the pavilion angle? It's important to share this with the vendor so that they can reassess the stone if necessary and offer you an opinion. Otherwise the stone looks fantastic.

Thanks all - WF stated that it was eye clean to their standard definition (person with 20:20 @ 10 inches) however if you inspected it closer (6 inches) the inclusion was visible. So I've decided to continue the search!!

That is not a vs2, should be a si1. You should not see them in vs stones.
I have a vs2 stone, which I have studied for 30 min(along with the chart) still couldn't find those pin points on the chart.

Here is the next option - slightly smaller but a VS1 which should ensure it is 100% eye clean..

Thoughts?!
