Hi there!

I am looking at a 1ct stone from a jeweler. It is uncerted. I am unsure about it- it's not an ideal cut, I would appreciate opinions on if its priced right for the stats.

1 ct/ H I1 eye clean from what I saw/ uncerted
Depth 63.9%
Table 56.1%
Pavilion Depth 44.5%,
Crown angle 35 degrees
6.4 mm
Very Good cut per jeweler
5.3 HCA score
Price $3050
Ideal scope did show leakage - I am wondering if it would actually be more of a "Good" cut

Thanks

Why don't you let us know your budget and we can help you find a beautiful diamond? Even if you can't make the
magic one carat mark, a well cut diamond will look almost as big. Especially because the one you posted is very deep
and will face up probably like a well cut .90 or so.

I realize its faults, but I just wondered if it's overpriced for what it is which seems to be yes. I examined it in person and it looked nice with the inclusion not noticeable to me even with my scope.

Anyway, the budget is 5k including setting and taxes. I would like to get a one carat stone with the best optics possible. Eye clean, no lower than K (no brown tones). Thanks!

A possible alternative:

Price is not that good for the cut.
