Ok guys, Im back. Havent pulled the trigger yet. The last diamond I looked at was an I color that had a great IS but I just dont think I want to go that high in color. So here is my next selection, from JA. I think the IS looks good, but tell me what you guys think. The diamond is a .74 carat, G color, SI1. I asked was the diamond eye-clean and this was the response from Darin at JA: "My gemologist had a chance to examine this diamond. She is happy with the brilliance and the above average cut. The inclusions are hard to see, however she does feel that they are closer to an SI2 grade. There is minor surface graining which cannot be seen without the use of a jewelers loupe. It is a beautiful diamond with a great make."
So would you pull the trigger or keep looking? Im wanting to spend less than 3000 on a .7 ideal cut, with 825 being spend on the setting.
Here is the IS. The cost of the diamond is around 2100.
