Opinion on this ring

The anchor might indicate that the ring was assayed (the purity of the gold verified) in Britain. If that's the case, here's a website that will help you "read" those hallmarks:

(I don't know whether there are hallmark systems in other countries that might also have used an anchor. However, if you follow this inquiry and it shows a date that's reasonable for your ring, that would be a pretty good indicator that you're on the right path.)

I was just a little suss since it was cheap. Usually vintage rings aren't this cheap!
