Opinion on this LGD please

Hello,

I've been researching for a LGD for a while, and finally thinking to get this stone. On paper (the report LG603329896) it sounds perfect, but i saw a lot of white dots on the diamond in the video. Is that reflection from the background? Could I some feedback on this rock please? Is there any pavilion twist? any blue nuance? Is anything about this rock that i should be concern? what would you rate this one?

Thank you for helping out!

The white dots are likely the inclusions mapped on the report. I don’t think they’ll be visible in person without magnification. Unlikely to have blue nuance based on the video. There are likely better cut options at this price point.

No blue nuance I can see. Maybe a tiny bit of pa union twist.

Most importantly, I t’s overpriced for a lab diamond. Have you checked Loose Grown Diamond? There are 1.70 D VS1 stones for about $1000.

Some of the experts will chime in, and I’m sure they can find you a great stone!

I think you can do better on both the cut and the price. If you post your budget and size requirement, we can help you search.

I'm looking for 1.65 - 1.75 carat ( 7.6 -7.7 mm round to replace the center stone on my wife setting, prefer heart and arrow, if possible under $1300.

FYI: for replacing the center stone and using the same mount, usually one has to get within a similar size range as the previous stone in the setting.
If you could post a picture of the setting, that might help.

Hi Kim

Here is the current ring, the center stone is 7.6mm round.

Besides better price, what makes those two LGD better cut comparing to the the link I shared? Just want to understand the diamond world a little bit better. They all look the same to me

Those rings are beautiful.

The diamond you posted has a bit of an unevenly cut pavilion, which can result in leakage. The two I posted are more precisely cut.

This one appears to have slight blue nuance.

Thank you Kim!
Does heart and arrow matter and make a difference on the diamond? does it worth the extra $?

I think the H&A designation is nice to have, but not necessarily worth the extra money since IGI doesn't provide actual H&A images to prove that it's truly H&A.

Those are two gorgeous stones @Kim N posted!

Just curious, @Visa Trn, why are you replacing your stone? Is it for better light return? Often, ppl come here to look for an upgrade. But since you're keeping the same size, is there another factor to consider when looking for a stone for you?

And remember that blue nuance is a matter of personal taste. Some ppl don't mind it, some ppl like it, and some ppl don't - kind of like black licorice
