Looks promising. Do you have the IS/ASET image of the stone?

Unfortunately, no.

So is this from an online vendor or a B&M store?

It''s probably a very good stone (and BN have a good return policy if you don''t like it), but it would not get through my "unseen screen" that I''ve had to develop to give me a high success rate if I want to be buying "blind" in the UK market (where images simply aren''t available).

For what it''s worth, here are my screening criteria (which is always subject to revision):

GIA-triple-excellent (cut, polish, symmetry).
Table: 55-57%.
Total depth: 61.8% maximum.
Minimum variation on the girdle (thin-med, med, or med-sl.thk) - but preferably medium with no variation.
Crown angle: 34.5 degrees.
Pavilion angle: 40.8 degrees.

Absolutely no compromises. A model stone within those parameters is in my picture.

It looks good based on the numbers. If it is not a large hassel you could have it shipped to an independent appraiser who could give you their stamp of approval prior to you taking it home. If they do not approve then you could return it for a refund. BN can be less $$ than other online vendors but it is at the expense of images etc because the diamonds are not in house.

What is your budget?

Maybe there is some with a vendor that provides images?

Thank you all for the feedback.

Right now, I am a tad bit over my ideal budget. My criteria was to have at least a 2.0 H VS2 with ex symmetry and ex polish. I was aiming for the the stone plus the setting to be under $18k, but wasnt really sure how realistic that would be.

Thanks again

Maybe drop clarity to SI1 if budget is squeezed. There are a reasonable number of eye clean SI1's around. All you have to do is ask. Even BN invite you to ask if SI's are eye clean, according to their website.

Ya, dropping down to an eye-clean SI1 would greatly increase the numbers of stones for your budget.

I may consider dropping down to SI1, any advice on which online vendor may have something that fits my range?

Thanks!
