Opinion on this 1.7ct RC diamond ?

Hey pricescopers,

I recently ordered this beautiful (on paper) diamond on ritani. It’s got excellent proportions, however, I’m concerned about the inclusions on the table. Will they affect the light return of the stone ? It has an HCA score of 1.6. I received a video of this stone and I can’t spot any black crystals.

Should be fine...it's a VS2, as long as it wasn't graded lenient or have prominent clouds or graining that impact transparency.

Agree with this.

I don't think the crystals will impact light return and shouldn't be an issue if you can't see black crystals in the video. Post it so and we can have a look for you too. Clarity plots can sometimes look scary but yet the stone is eye clean.

If anything, the comment "Internal graining is not shown" is worth investigating though because that can potentially affect transparency.

Nope! It doesn’t look cloudy or hazy. We went to a jewelry store to view it and the owner was really shocked we were able to find it for the price. It was between this stone and another one; both jewelers said they really like this stone ! Really happy with it

Thanks deja!! I love it. Wish I could post videos as well but I am very pleased with the stone. Too bad my bf took it back and hid it somewhere until D-day lol whenever that is
