Opinion on setting

Having a custom setting made, combining elements of the Vatche setting, with tapered baguettes.

very elegant! I like it very much! Have you also considered a pair of trapezoids? (not step cut)

Hm... is this the very object?

In the picture, it appears that the underside of the ring's "head" has not been polished. Also, I woudl have wanted the crossing bars a bit more rounded so that they look like the courved wire they stand-in for. If they were fabricated, the crossing point (the 'X' ) would have shown overlapping - more pronounced than I see in the pic too...
