Opinion on Oval? Any similar recommendations please?

Hello,

A friend of mine is shopping for a diamond and a setting. His girlfriend loves oval diamonds, his budget is 5K in total for the whole ring. She like a halo setting that would be set with an oval.

Can you please help recommending different options for both the diamond and the setting?

He sent me this diamond link, I told him I'll ask the experts on this forum for help and advice

Look at a vendor like James Allen that has images of all the stones and videos of the stones rotating.

Is $5k the budget for the stone then extra for the setting? Or is it $5k for both the stone and setting?

His budget is for the entire ring. Both the diamond and the setting.

Center is nice but the rest is pretty mushy...I would pass...

Here are a few to consider...I usually try to stay up at H or higher but if you are trying to gain size you'll have to be at an "I".
I didnt see any that stood out as the "clear winner" so it really depends on what you are looking for in a stone (high color/clarity/...)

Biggest one...you would have to make sure the twinning wisp dont impact the beauty...also make sure it is eye-clean

Next biggest...clarity plot shows a lot going on so make sure it is eye-clean and check the twinning wisp for any impact
