Hi,
My ring is not new (27 yo) and was just purchased at a mall store. We were 21 and 22 when engaged and had no idea that we could have done more research.
Regardless, I still love the design of my ring. I recently had it reset to a trellis so that I could wear a straight band with it.
I have always noticed that the 2 trillions do not match each other. When I had it reset I suggested replacing one for a better match.
The jeweler said he could, but wanted me to see the resest without it. He agreed they are mismatched, but feels others will not notice.
What would you do? I partly do not want to change it for sentimental
reasons.
Do you think someone just looking at my ring would even notice?
Thank you for your expertise!
