Opinion on engraved wedding bands

When you first started this post, I didn't think for one minute that the engraved band would look good...but I kind of like it! To me, the engraved band seems to add a little more uniqueness to your ring, without detracting or clashing. I don't know the cost, but is there any way that you can keep all of them, so that you can change them up?

Design-wise, I like the idea of a narrow wedding band with a single large row of milgraining down the middle. It would also look fantastic with a band on both sides of the ring!

Something like this, but without the curve:

That's shown by OroSpot on etsy.

I don't like the decorative hand engraving with your engagement ring, but I do like some decoration, because your e-ring is so decorative. The large repeated bead would compliment your ring without overpowering it.

Cheers and good luck!

Thanks msop and Huldak!
VRB: I think the metal width is ~ 1.8mm and the stones are 1.4 pointers (not sure what their diameter should be).
braga: Funny you should say that, I suggested that idea too haha! They aren't really expensive... From WRH, The 2mm engraved band is $550 in platinum and $295 in 14k WG, a plain milgrained platinum band is $295. I was thinking maybe get a plain platinum band to wear with the ering, and maybe just a WG engraved band to wear by itself without the ering.
Krikawa: Thanks for the picture! I've been talking to OroSpot already, and they've been very helpful. I'll look into it.

Thanks everybody... this is very helpful!
