Opinion on Engagement Ring & Diamond...Please Help!

Hi all,

I am looking at purchasing the following cushion cut diamond and would love to get some opinions before I pull the trigger. Hoping to spend no more than $3K on the diamond and this was quoted at just under that. Here are all the relevant details:

Carat weight: 0.90
Cut: Very Good
Color: H
Clarity: VS2
Depth %: 67.3%
Table %: 61%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Girdle: Medium to Thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 5.61 x 5.33 x 3.59 mm
Length/width ratio: 1.05

To be honest I dont think its a very pretty stone. Its really hard to see the faceting pattern with the white back ground.

I don't like the cushion you posted the picture of. The middle is mushy and it looks like it will only really be sparkly around the edges.

Bad picture, but the bubble wrap has better light performance than that cut. Sad.
