Could I please get some thoughts on the following. I''m a little concerned that this diamond only scored a 4.4 on the cut advisor:

1.95ct G Vs2
61 depth
58 table
33.9 crown angle
41.4 pavillion angle
no flouresence

what is wrong with the cut, based on this?

From a technical # perspective, the reason your stone is scoring so horribly on the HCA is because the pavilion angle is too steep. The HCA likes for pav angles to be under 41, most likely around 40.6-40.8 for maximum performance with this stone's #'s.

Hopefully one of the experts can weigh in on this stone's #'s and if possible, show you something like a DiamCalc with the 40.7 or similar pav angle (Gives you a 1.0 on the HCA) and then show you a DC of the stone with the 41.4 pav angle. See if you see any differences on light leakage, etc.

If you getting crown and pav angles, focus on a pav angle under 41 if you want it to score nicely on the HCA.
