Hello everyone, 2 weeks ago i purchased this 7 stone 1ct tw from costco sale for my wife as an anniversary gift. https://www.costco.com/round-brilliant-1.00-ctw-vs2-clarity,-g-color-diamond-14kt-gold-band.product.100772746.html We were very impressed with how sparkly the diamonds were. She wore it as a right hand ring . Fast forward to yesterday she told me one of the diamonds looked glass white. I took it to our local jeweler and he said the diamond on the end had chipped. This was very disappointing as she said she don't remember coming into brut force with anything and she is usually very careful with her jewelry. We have never had an issue with a diamond chipping before. The jeweler recommended getting a different setting from the costco one. Costco was great as always with taking care of us and issuing a refund. We were thinking of going the lab diamond route and getting bigger total cw within budget for her so she gets full coverage for her size 8 right hand finger. I was looking at these two options as the price seems to right where we want to spend.
