Hi all,
Just want see your opinions on this diamond. Since it's a 34/41 diamond it could be risky to buy without viewing actual diamond images. I Wasn't able to obtain the images but have the Gcal report.

Any advice would much appreciated on whether this diamond is a good buy or not!

Looks pretty good to me - the GCAL reports don't use the same angles for the colour bands as ASETscopes, but they can be compared between each other.

Run the numbers through the HCA tool to check it scores well (under 2 ideally, but up to mid-2s should be fine).

Is there a video of the stone?

What are the Returns policies of the vendor?

Looks good to me as well!

There is no video of the stone however the return policy is 30 days after receiving the stone.

I was just wondering about the light performance of this stone. Would it be more firey or more have brighter white flashes?

Generally speaking, a smaller table and higher crown is likely to produce higher amounts of fire, because the crown facets surrounding the table help split the light into the rainbow fans and the facets are larger in that combination (therefore there is more opportunity to create rainbow fans).

This has a 58 table so at the larger end of the 'generally PS-recommended' range, and the crown is at the lower end of the same range, BUT the lower girdle facets are 75%, which means it will have 'fat arrows', and larger facets create more fire, therefore it is likely to be a fairly balanced stone between white light return and coloured fire, I would say.

It's no 61% table, 32.5 degree crown angle stone, which would tend a lot towards white light return, so there should be decent fire!
