Hello,

I'm considering the following 2 diamonds and debating if the price increase on the 1.51 is worth it. Can you please provide your opinion?

Here is a gemologist review of these 2 diamonds

You'll be happy to hear that diamond 1429045 (1.51crt H VS2) is exceptionally bright and has great fire, brilliance, and scintillation. It's bright throughout the diamond, which is why it's the top performer of your selection. It has a true "H" color, an excellent cut, and faces perfectly eye clean.

Your second best option is diamond 1511716 (1.30crt H VS2), which is bright and has nice light performance but isn't quite as consistently bright as diamond 1429045. It also has an excellent cut, a true "H" color, and faces eye clean.

TIA

Just a little note on HCA scores: the 1.51 got a score of 1.1 while the 1.3 got a score of 2.6(worth buying if price is right)

I would greatly appreciate feedback on this stone.

Attaching idealscope images, I am very new to this and don't really know what to look for. I'm unsure if I am not following the forum etiquette here as no one has replied to my post. Please advise if I am doing something wrong.

Adding pics of the diamond and the GIA certificate of this diamond. I'm strongly considering this diamond and am waiting for PSers to give their OK before pulling the trigger.

Do you have IS images of the two stones from JA?

No, I don't and now those stones are gone. :-(

That's ok we can help you find something. Do you want to share your budget and criteria? Just a hint, stones that get posted and are given the PS thumbs up are often snatched up before you have a chance to get them on hold. So, if someone make a recommendation that you are interested in, make sure that you are ready to put that stone on hold immediately. ;))

The 3rd stone I posted along with the IS images is still available. Could you please provide your opinion on that? I would get it for 10300 on JA.

My budget is 10-11K for the stone. I would like to stick to VS1/VS2 and G/H color. Looking for a 1.3-1.5 carat round diamond.

No the photos I provided are for a diamond from Yekutiel from ID Jewelry in NY. I went to him asking for pics of some BN stones after reading on PS that he would provide pics of any stone on BN. The stone I asked him about had a table of 59%, he strongly recommended against that stone and recommended the stone in the pics. Can you please give me your opinion on that diamond? I will put the stones on JA on hold in the meantime. But, if the stone from Yekutiel is good I'll just go with that.

Regarding the setting, it really depends on what I would spend on the diamond. If I spend all of my budget on the stone, I'll go with a plain solitaire setting in platinum(allergic to white gold). If not, I'll go for one with Pave on the shank. I'm really liking a lot of the Vatche settings on WF but, my priority is the biggest carat + quality I can get. The setting can always be upgraded later as long as I spend as little as possible on it now.

Here is the HCA report
