I came accross this RB stone while window shopping in the jewelry district.
GIA cert:
2.45 E VS2
Depth 59.9
Table 59
Girdle sl thick to thick
Culet none
Polish/symmetry VG/VG
Flour: medium
This GIA cert did not have the crown or pavilion angle info.

Is this RB worth pursuing? ie trying to get the updated GIA crown and pavilion info? Or is the table too large at 59?

thanks

here are the measurements 8.68 -8.75 x 5.22 mm

thanks in advance for any input

For a stone of this size and quality, I''d suggest having the seller send it to AGS for one of their new light performance reports.

The fluorescence may be an issue, or may not be, but it does have to be seen to tell that.

Even though the proportions may appear slightly "off" - it still might be a really nice stone.

Needless to say the price is certainly a viable consideration to make as well.

that stone would totally not be one i would pursue personally...i don't like the 60/60 kind of stone to begin with, but i also don't like the VG/VG and the slightly thick to thick girdle. that's just me though...my two consumer cents.

but yes the price may be a huge consideration, if it looks pretty and is discounted due to fluor and the cut quality or similar...you may want to pursue it. but if it's almost the same price or is the same price as something more 'ideal'....then i'd pass and keep looking.

Thanks for the input. At that stone''s price range we will keep looking.
