Many issues
1. Cut Grade: Only consider excellent cut. "very good" is not so very good
2. Yes, it is deep at 64.1
3. Pav angle is too shallow at 40. (40.6-40.9 is desirable)
4. Crown angle is too steep at 37.5 (34-35 is deisrable. maybe 33.5-35.5 in some cases, or even 36. never 37.5)

HCA score 1.1 because HCA cannot filter out diamonds with extreme angles: a good example of HCA's limitation.

Yes, It is too deep, plus you should be concern about the IGI lab report too.

Stunning.
How do you go from IGI very good to GIA with super ideal proportions?? LOL

anyways.. I would not buy this one, because it is really yellow for I. It is almost J.

Haha, lots of reading and educating myself in a short amount of time! The help here is MUCH appreciated

What would you guys recommend in that case in the 1.25-1.55 ct range that is at most an I (or a very favorable J at a stretch) with excellent proportions, which is within the $8500 price range or so. Would prefer to be closer to the 1.5 mark if possible. Limited to JamesAllen as I have a credit there from turning in a previous diamond.

Looks good based on the #s, and if you are OK with the J color then go for it.
