I clicked on your link expecting something jaw dropping. Nearly 5 CTS! Looking at it unfortunately I was underwhelmed. It's got size and but the color and cut seem flat.

Sorry I'm sure that wasnt necessary what you wanted to hear.

Admittedly I have no idea what that tone you have there costs but- smaller ctw (but basically 10*7.5) this stone has in my opiniona better combination of cut, color, ctw and still very high clarity.

I agree with Neil that I'm honestly underwhelmed by that stone. Do you have specific criteria you're looking for? I like the one Neil posted, and I found some others (although of course not 100% they'll be your cup of tea).

I understand why you love that one too! Its a beauty but for sure, more on the champagne scale.

Frankly a Y-Z may be a much better bargain unless one wants to pay for the fancy yellow grade. I also like the crispness of the facets.

I also wasn't terribly overtaken by the Leibish stone but in my defense, I'm not so big on diamonds either. However I will say that I feel that in that light yellow category, you have more options open to you. Of course you have to be the one who loves it, and if you love it, then mine or anyone else's opinion shouldn't matter.

I think having a lively stone is the priority with a nice lemony yellow color (i'm not too big on the canary yellows yet) I already have a 2ct square cushion and want to get a bigger carat weight elongated stone.

What is lemony to me might not be lemony to you. When I see the colour of a lemon in person, it is very bright and strongly yellow. The Leibish stone isn't what I consider "lemony". It can, however, be enhanced in a yellow gold setting.

Although it is deep and has a small table, it has a pretty serious tilt window. I'm not sure much this will lessen once set. This will bother some people but won't faze others.
