opinion between these two diamonds?

Based on these numbers, which cut do you prefer and why?

Base on the proportions, I go for diamond #2. it's with in the Super Ideal range. Do you have the Ideal and ASeT scope to see.

Thanks for your advice! That's the one I was leaning towards anyway. Didn't know it was within super ideal range though, cool! I'll update once I get it, hopefully.

Based on these numbers, which cut do you prefer and why?

Based on those numbers, I prefer #2 because the numbers for #1 look closer to a 60:60 style which favours white light return over colour and I like coloured light return more.
Both should be bright stones but all things being equal I like a smaller table and higher crown for fire.
They’re not super ideal parameters per se - that’s a function of other things as well such as meet point symmetry but those numbers are a good start for good light return as the HCA score suggests

Whew finally got it! Those diamonds are actually Tiffany rings, and it was an auction so I had to be a bit secretive/paranoid. Diamond 2 is also slightly bigger, higher in color, with slight fluorescence. I love fluorescence in a diamond when it doesn't effect performance so that was a bonus to have!

Now I gotta wait for it to arrive and check authenticity, but it was a great price even for just unbranded plat and diamond. TBH I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be super ideal since symmetry is only "very good", but I'm fine with that.

So happy, thanks for your help in steering me the right way! I almost picked diamond #1 for the novelty of having a nicely cut 60/60...
