Hmm...well for those who are curious, I tested yesterday and got a BFN using First Response Early Response. But AF hasn''t shown up yet...start date of LMP was Jan 2nd...last cycle was 28 days, but maybe this one is longer? I guess more waiting for me. I would be a little concerned if AF hasn''t shown up by the 6th and I''m still getting a BFN

. At that point I suppose I''d get a blood test?

If you''re not charting and you don''t have consistent 28 day cycles, you probably ovulated later than you think you did. In your first post, you said you''ve been really stressed, which can delay ovulation. The chances are much better that you ovulated late than you being one of the few who don''t test positive through urine, you know? I''d wait another week at least, maybe a bit longer (testing a couple more times with FRERs if you''re really worried) before going in for a blood test.

I agree EBree. I''m going to wait at least another week. Doing some more thinking in the past couple weeks I realized, no it''s not ideal to be pregnant now, but if I am FI and I will roll with the punches and enjoy the experience. I''m not as concerned about the outcome as I was when I first posted (kinda in a panic because I like having things planned), but really I just want to be out of limbo now.

Lol..I feel you! You should be fine but it happened to us! We were going to have a winter wedding and we ended up getting married when I was 4 months preg. Don''t worry, don''t stress yourself out. If it happens, it happens. I worried and thought hey, my baby wants to be the guest of honor. lol...

Mtjoya, yup if get end up getting a BFP I will be about 4 months on our wedding day! Lol about the guest of honor. LO didn''t want to miss a very important day in her parents lives! I''ve been keeping an eye out on you ladies in the preg. ps''ers thread. Congrats! You get to meet your LO soon!

Not sure if this is TMI but usually before I start, I am dry "downstairs" but I''m still having creamy CM from about after estimated ovulation till now. does this mean anything or is my cycle this time just absolutely crazy? I''m not super regular but I''d have to say that my cycles are generally very consistent and predictable. I think all the over thinking is making my body do strange things.

I''m so glad I have PS to vent my thoughts and get feedback, advice, support from a great group.

I think that you are stressing out alot. Your body gets like that. Have you tested? I tested when I was a week late and was s#$%ing bricks when I found out, but was still in denial. I went to the doc asap to get blood drawn. Still was in denial. I don''t think it hit me til I saw the ultrasound and heard her heartbeating. My husband was tearing up and was sobbing cuz he was so happy. I thought it was funny but was in a daze.

I think you should be okay. If it happens, it happens. I am not going to lie but I was very scared at first but when the baby growing and you feel the first kick you fall in love and wonder why it didnt happen before.

I had someone at work ask me if the baby was the reason why I got married. I told her no, didn''t offer to explain anything. People can say all they want but you shouldn''t care and do what''s best for you! Good Luck!

I just wanted to ditto MTJoya''s story - ours was rather similar - I was really freaked out through the first 4 months or so of the pregnancy. We had our baby boy 6 months after our wedding, and we are such a happy family. In fact, we are expecting our second little guy now in a few months. It took us almost a year of trying and difficulties to conceive this one, so I have a new appreciation for the unplanned, "surprise" conception.

LOL...tell me about it! I was scared that my mom was going to kick my a** because I come from a traditional mex family and instead of doing that she didn''t believe me! Then, when I started crying she was like oh...your not lying! Congrats! Then she turns to hubby and says that she is going to kick his butt! lol...
