I just wanted to start a thread with my ideas for our wedding on May 17th. Enjoy!

This is the cake I like, only its going to be in a square shape, not round.

These are the bridesmaid''s dresses... we all love them!

This is a picture of the inside of our reception site. Outside is a really awesome courtyard with lots of vines on the walls and stuff.

Obiecoo! Everything looks fabulous!!! I love those shoes! BM''s dresses are adorable! The location is very pretty. Do you have any pictures of the exterior? Are you wearing a veil with your dress? I love, love, love your flowers too. That looks like stock on the exterior -- one of my favorite flowers!

When are you getting married? (I''m getting married on June 5th and I still can''t commit to a bouquet. I just love too many kinds of flowers!) You girls with all of these decisions to make, I just don''t know how you do it. I''d have to quit my job, I think!

Sarah- I think its fondant but we are using white buttercream. The cake will be chocolate with chocolate icing on the inside

Suli- thanks! I've been second-guessing all of decisions lately so I'm glad others like them!

Loves Vintage- Thanks! The shoes in the pic are from Jcrew but mine are similar and from NineWest. I was so excited that they are green! No pics of the exterior yet but I'm sure we will have some great outdoor shots since we are playing croquet. I ordered a birdcage veil but exchanged it for a larger birdcage so hopefully that one will work... otherwise I'll be veil-less! The wedding is May 17th... I just decided on the bouquet a month or so ago. And yes that is stock with callas and sweetpea

Ringster- Hey! Thanks for the compliments! We actually won't have flowers on top of the cake... I don't think. We are doing white dipped strawberries on my cake and chocolate dipped ones on FI's german chocolate cake. We love chocolate... can't you tell!?

Buttercup- Thanks! They are actually from Target! It was really important for me to find something classy yet affordable for my girls. I was nervous about ordering them without seeing them first but I was so impressed with the fabric and quality when I opened the package! And I know they can wear them again... one girl wanted to wear her's before the wedding!

Bee- Thanks! FI thinks it looks wilted but I love the wildflower feel that it has!

Anchor- Thanks so much! I can't believe its so close now!

Gorgeous (everything!) May 17 is my birthday...actually our neighbors across the street are getting married that day as well...it''s a great day to do anything, I promise! Hee hee. Maybe I''m just a little biased.
