Online dealers and price negotiations

Hi,
I was wondering if online dealers negotiate for a lower price just like local jewelers? I noticed that online dealers usually offer the exact diamond will they bid against each other even lower than posted? Thanks,

Thats a great artical.

Kind of hard to deal on a price that is close to the bottom.


The less hoops you want the jeweler to jump through the closer he will go to the bottom on price.

What's left to negotiate? Most of us are running so close to cost that there isn't anything left. Your local jeweler is willing to negotiate because most of them double to triple the cost of their merchandise while most of the internet dealers are working on a couple of percent.
