enjoy this mostly stress-free milestone...before you know it, you''ll be "woohoo, single digits....WAIT! I have soooooo much left to do!" with a year left, you''re not into panic mode yet!
DH and I knew what we were going to serve at our wedding at the one year before mark (Italian food because we were going to Italy for the honeymoon). On our "one year until the wedding" anniversary, we went out and ate Italian food and drank Chianti as a wedding pre-celebration. I highly recommend celebrating the milestone--for that matter, I highly recommend celebrating anything, particularly if it falls on a friday!
Well we''re cooking supper tonight together which will be fun
Last night we went to the midnight showing of the new james bond movie
i have feeling it won''t be getting more exciting than that! Maybe hot tubbing though
thanks pjean and doodle!
we ended up not doing anything because my sister decided to pick that day of all days to let me know for sure her and her husband are getting divorced and then we were planning to go out to dinner she decided that was the best time to vent (she didn''t know we were planning to go out but she did know the day and the signifcance, we were on facebook and i had it as my status
) anyways apparently she felt this was the best time to vent to me about how she hopes she gets a lot of money in child support and the house and the kids, etc. etc. etc. i was pretty lamed out by all of it and cried a few tears because i just wanted to have a nice dinner with fi and be happy but whatever. it''s fine as long as it doesn''t become a regular occurence whenever wedding things come up (she originally messaged me to ask me some question about the bridesmaid dresses and to brag about all the weight shes lost and how much more shes planning to lose by the wedding)
ugh sorry, bit of a vent there
