Hello Everyone!

Wow. Fantastic site. I think I''ve learned more in the past two days reading these forums than any of my college minerology classes.

Well, after many many trips to Robbins Bros and back, my fiancee-to-be has finally selected her ring... and now my quest begins. I''ve attached a pic of the one that she wants. (If this image doesn''t appear, please see the following URL:

Looking at the Ritani site, I believe the sku # is 1PC2079A.

I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea regarding the price of this setting from other Ritani dealers (preferably online). I''ve checked Pearlmans and billbarnes.com but can''t seem to find this exact setting. She''s a size 6 and has a fondness for princess diamonds.

I''m planning on buying the diamonds separately after reading that it''s possible to select your own diamond with a Ritani setting. Of course, I''d like to get confirmation from any vendors out with respect to this setting.

Thanks a bunch for any insights you can provide.
Cheers,
-M

P.S. My login name should have been mingus_99... dang arthritis.

Call Pearlman''s for a price. Just because you didn''t see it on their site, doesn''t mean they can''t get it for you. It''s a gorgeous setting. Good luck!!!

ditto, give him a call and see what he can do for you!

Any ritani dealer should be able to get that setting for you. Mine was $2395 retail (see avatar) without the center stone, so I imagine without the stones yours would be somewhere in the same ballpark.

I agree with calling pearlmans. Do keep in mind that the side diamonds may be a part of the setting and they might not let you pick those. I''d also check with Pearlman''s on pricing a nice Princess center for you. many times a vendor can give a better deal on the total package rather than just on portion of it.

check a price with Ken Shelton at http://www.kennethedwardsinc.com/ he is a ritani dealer and offers a pretty deep discount on that line related to ''internet sales'' - at least it would give you some comparitive prices points as you shop

Thank you very much everyone!

I contacted Pearlmans and they''re helping me out with my newbie questions. I hope to make a post in the "show me the ring" forum soon.
