Hi all,

The age old question - which one ?

Does this come down to cut (both are round)?

1. GIA 2.27 8.61 - 8.70 x 5.11
Depth 59
Table 58
Girdle THINMED
Culet N/A
Polish VG
Symmetry VG
Clarity Grade SI1 (This looks like a good SI1)
Color Grade G
Fluorescence N/A

2. GIA 2.39 8.74 - 8.79 x 5.21
Depth 59.4
Table 58
Girdle MEDSTHK
Culet S
Polish VG
Symmetry VG
Clarity Grade VS2
Color Grade H
Fluorescence Faint

Same price.

Whaddayathink ?

BTW - this is by far the best site around - Pricescope is cool !

Have you seen both of these side by side? If you have, your eyes should tell you. If you have not, and these are the only two choices, I take #1 because I like G much better than H and since you say the SI1 is a good SI1, no problem.

Hello,

Have spent a couple of weeks reading and I feel almost ready to buy!

I have another questions - in an SI1, how much of a problem is 'clouds' generally. I have seen a few clarity analyses on GoodOldGold, but not sure if exactly the 'clouds' could interfere with brilliance - is it like 90% of the time, it really doesn't matter or ?

Thanks.
Michael
