Hey all,

Sorry to bother you all again! I've finally decided that online would be my best option to buying a diamond.

I guess I'll need to clarify that I'm in Canada, so our Canada dollar is quiet weak compared to the US dollar. Meaning the diamond previously suggested are a bit above budget.

I was hoping if PS family could help me out finding the perfect diamond for about $2500-$2750.

I am looking for something above .7 range, colour below G,H, vs2 or better, triple excellent. Hearts and Arrows would be nice.

Looking for the best shine for my dollar, size isn't 100% important considering it will be placed in a halo.

All the help is appricated!!!

Any of the 3 Whiteflash ACAs should be good, but are SI1 not VS1 or VS2. Or call up I.D. Jewelry or B2C Jewels and see what they can find that fits your budget. They may be able to find a decent VS1 stone of VG cut that just missed the excellent cut grade. Sounds like you need a full-service jeweler if you are not going to do your own hunting and have 4-5 threads on this already. And those search results tell you you are going to have to compromise on clarity to get the other parameters and still meed the budget.

I don't know anything about Zoara, a vendor on that search results page. But if you pick an AGS 000 stone it's guaranteed to be a good performer. GIA 3X is a bit more iffy and you'd need to use the HCA and look for score 2 or less. HCA is a pass/fail rejection tool, located under the Tools tab at top of page.

I would suggest you contact Yekutiel at ID Jewelry. He is a full service jeweler and can help you to find something quite nice within your budged. And he is very easy to work with. Good luck - I am certain that he can help you.
