Onassis jewels auction at christies

More than 40 pieces of jewelry from the collection of the late Christina Onassis are expected to fetch up to 3 million pounds ($5.9 million ) when they come up for sale at Christie''s International in London, the auction house said today in an e-mailed statement.

The pieces will be included in Christie''s June 11 ``Jewels: The London Sale'''' auction, which carries a total estimate of at least 8 million pounds.
