I have this gorgeous bracelet of sapphire and diamond bees. Very detailed and extremely well made. It was formally a pin from the 1950s that I turned into a bangle and the best part is that it can be put on one handed (no partner needed which was my goal) and can be sized! I love it but never wear it (I’m just not a bracelet person). It’s 18k gold with French cut sapphires that are very blue (despite my bad photography) and very sparkly diamonds. Would you try to sell direct on here or consign or something else? If consign, who might be a few good people to talk to? I’m also not sure what a reasonable asking price would be — it’s a very unique, beautifully detailed piece.

Thoughts and suggestions are very welcome here — I’m not quite sure where to take this!

It’s so pretty!

These days pieces like this that are not original or designer often sell for gold melt value plus some %. Depends on desirability. It’s very pretty!

I have no idea how you could redesign it and if you don’t have a strong feeling I’m not sure that route will work for you?

I think it’s beautiful. Would you wear it if the bees were earrings instead of a bracelet?

I can’t wear earrings (awful allergies to all metals) and I don’t wear necklaces. I find that I really only reach for my rings. Great thinking though!

I would take better pics and try selling here first as you’ll probably net more money that way + it’d be faster. If there’s no interest, then consignment. JbG is the only one I can think of that does consignment.

Wow, it's so pretty! :kiss2:

How about eBay? It gives you the most control and flexibility compared to consigning. And of course posting in Preloved.

I was thinking in Preloved on PS and on LoupeTroop but I have literally no idea what to ask. Any suggestions?
