Just sharing for fun. I inherited a ladies dinner watch several years ago that I discovered had a first generation 17 Jewel Movement from Omega, from the very first year they made this movement.

The yoke had worn out and after two years of trying to find a replacement movement I had it converted to a modern quartz movement so I can wear it again.

It’s a beautiful watch. How wonderful that you’re wearing it! I especially love the sapphire accents and that fancy, sapphire-tipped winding stem!
