Hi all! It's been a minute since I've spent time here, but I just picked up the OMC and I'm looking for some inspiration. It was sold (second hand) to me as a fancy brown (not sure about that) .085-.9, OMC.

I knew it would need some attention (sizing, prong maintenance), but upon receiving it, I think the original setting needs more attention than I want to give it. It's obviously set in yellow gold (platinum head), which isn't may favorite, but I thought it might be a nice change from my normal white gold collection.

I'm now thinking I'll have it made into a relatively simple right hand ring, in white gold, to emphasis the brown tones.

Anyone have any thoughts/places I can look to get some inspiration for a right hand ring? I had thought there was a thread on PC somewhere of RHRs but I can't find it.

Thanks all!

Personally, I would opt for a simple Gypsy rub-over setting myself for a RHR, which was what I did with a 0.86ct OEC with the stone and setting from Ivy and Rose.

This is my ring:

And this is my RHR collection, all for the middle finger; the one in the middle is my 1.19ct EC which is a special occasion ring for dressier events, all in Platinum:

Here’s an 0.82 H in white gold, stock Brilliance setting

And a 0.72 H in 14k yellow gold, setting is custom but it is basically a Stuller setting with rope engraving instead of a diamond halo.

And a 0.4 F-G in white gold Ivy & Rose setting
