OMC reset?

Here is what I’m contemplating. The floral halo is my current setting. But it is very wonky. Very wonky. Which is fine. Bc I’m not really a perfectionist. But in looking at my old pics, I’m realizing that I really appreciate the cushion outline of my OMC. Which I think gets lost in my halo. Thoughts?
I do know that the reset would be in yellow gold. Not a solitaire.
