G'day all, bit of a lurker, first time posting.

Should be receiving this soon, would love to know more about the cut.

Listed as a 0.66ct h measuring 5x5x4mm.

Obviously, it's super deep, but the outline of the girdle is bewildering me. Doesn't look like it has been bruted at all, evidenced by the octagonal shape.

Thought it might have been a variant on a peruzzi? Any ideas?

Whatever it is (I'm leaning to OMC) it's flipping lovely & very unique!

Looks to be an early OMC, when you mention no evidence of bruting, is the girdle polished? That would indicate it’s been cleaned up for nicks/chips.

Not in my possession yet,but from photos the girdle looks to be knife edge.

I was mostly curious as to why the girdle hadn't been rounded off.
