So I am on the look out for a rhr and I have ventured over to Jewells by Grace and came across a few stones that might be worth considering. Cost, size, colour aside which one do you think is the most beautiful?? Or should I just wait until I find something to my liking from GOG or VC that have asset to view. Appreciate any feedback

Of the 3, my fav is the 1.72 (third link in your post). The facet pattern is most pleasing to my eye and it looks like a fairly white K....

Grace is excellent at helping you select stones without needing an ASET, but if that's important to you, I'm sure it could be done. Personally, I judge old cuts with my eyes...I want a high crown, small table, not too deep and most importantly (to me), a pretty flowery facet pattern.

Another vote for the K, and I really love Gypsy's picks 1,2, &4.

I'm not sure how useful ASETs are with old cuts - this is actually something I'd love to hear about from old cut nuts who've had the opportunity to test their stones. Generally, #s are useless when it comes to evaluating old cuts from a distance: they're infuriatingly unpredictable. Not sure if ASET is going to be a solid guide ... anybody out there able to comment?

I like the facet pattern of 3, but the scale and specs of 1 (I prefer an old cut with more fluorescence). Go big if you can! Diamond 1 looks like it might have more damage than I would be comfortable with. Setting would be important to protecting it. Honestly, it these are your choices, I might wait, especially if you have budget capacity to get one stone that really strikes your fancy. There are a ton of really great old cuts out there, particularly if you can get in front of a dealer who has a vast inventory. What a fun project! I hope you share more as you go along.
