This ring is probably more than 100 years old. Maybe someone can give me more information about it. It''s my husband''s family ring from England.

0.8 cm x 0.6 cm (0.8 cm height)
Very special design, custom made.-

Wow I saw the title "Old Diamond Ring" and was NOT expecting that. That''s amazing. You should have titled it "Amazing Antique Diamond Ring". That ring is stunning.

Have you taken it to an appraiser/jeweler? I am totally NOT trying to rain on your parade, but I''m wondering if it''s really a diamond, or glass. What really struck me was the profile pics, and especially the crown/table shot. It reminded me very much of an "heirloom" my mother has. I had the opportunity to have it, but after posting it here and having someone think it might be glass, I took it to a jewelry store, which confirmed it was indeed glass. Here''s the link.

And here''s the pic that looks similar to your last one. I truly hope I''m wrong, but since you asked, I thought I''d mention my experience.

It is a real diamond, being in the family for more than a 100 years, it''s very big and rare, but I don''t have too much information, I think is a 3 carat.

Agreed! It is very beautiful, and worth the $50 in having it appraised.
