Old Cuts, Asets & Ideal Scopes

Question to the experts...I keep seeing all these hearts and arrows and the likes on IS and ASET images and I wondered if the old cuts would be worth putting through an IS/ASET or is the old cut style not conducive to those tools? Just curious. Thanks!
 
I did put my OEC through an IScope just to be sure it wasn''t leaking too much light.

here's the ideal scope pics Richard Sherwood took of my OEC when I had it appraised a couple of years ago..

you can do it but those tools aren't designed to critique old cuts IMO. of course many might not find the beauty in an old cut b/c they weren't cut for optical symmentry. just goes to show beauty is in the eye of the beholder..
