I also love the shoes bee got, although I never have the nerve to buy those. I just don''t know how to pair them with anything.

I did find a cute pair of shoes on sale at Burlington and they were Union Bay and they went perfect with my white dress that I wore to the party last night. It was a mexican fiesta and we had a blast.

Oh I forgot to tell you, I got the most amazing picture of a beautiful amethyst that a friend of mine was wearing last night. I thought the stone was one of the most gorgeous I had ever seen. Not too dark, and the way it was cut and set were amazing. I loved it. My camera just make it look blue, so my daughter took a couple of hand shots with her beast of a new camera. Hopefully, I can get my daughter to download them and send them to me soon so I can post them.

I haven''t got any footshots of them yet-I only bought them on Friday and I went on holidays on Saturday! I''m back this coming saturday so I''ll try and get foot shots then.

Miracles-they actually look quite good with a girly dress-they kind of take away from the girliness and grunge it up a bit. I''d tried them on about six different times and always put them back on the shelf, but I couldn''t resist them anymore when I got over €100 off!

ETA (Since you can''t actually): And yes, we''ve done salmon a couple of times. Today, though, we made Kris'' family recipe focaccia (sp?) and had leftover risotto from last night. Also, you''d be proud...we''ve been baking our own bread nearly every day. It is YUMMY.

We''re going to Vegas...our city...December 17-20th and we''re staying at The Mirage--which I never would have been able to afford without clops help! Yay!!!!! Unfortunately the stupid Volcano will be being renovated and so in 4 trips to Vegas I still won''t have seen it go off, but whatever!!I don''t care, we''re going to Vegas!!!!YAY!!!

(And I came in $100 under budget for our travel expenses and hotel costs. Wohoo!!!!!)

Get this--he''s balking at wanting to look at venues. I think he''s scared that I''ll just take over and we''ll end up going from hotel to hotel on the strip wanting to look at their wedding chapels. Which is not the case. I just want to check out Planet Hollywood and Mandalay Bay.

No hints about the proposal, but the stone is paid for, we''re just waiting for it to arrive. I have to say that it would be mighty cool if he did it in Vegas...

Oh! But he did say that he knows when, where and how he''ll be doing it. So miracles, it sounds like it''s set in stone when it''ll happen!

And LP--what fun you guys will have! I''m totally up for giving suggestions about it, because I''m thinking I''ll probably be having mine there too (From what I understand the "Thunder from Down Under" is where it''s at for Bachelorette parties-it''s at the Excalibur--which I find funny because it''s such a kid oriented hotel.)

I totally and completely envy your shoe collection. Along with the ability to wear heels. I have screwy feet and can''t wear heels.

My friend (the one whose bachelorette party I''ll be going to next year) is designing a ring and wants to do either a sapphire or spinel. I''ve been trying to get her to sign up for Pricescope, but in the meantime, I thought you might be able to give me some names.
