Thank you for all who have replied to my recent posts. We have purchased a GOG H&A stone that is 8.2mm diameter J/VS2. We really did want something bigger so are going to be getting a comparison stone to view before making a final choice. We have been trying to find something between a H&A stone and a poor performing XXX (which is all we see in stores). If we found a above average GIA XXX we would be happy. As diamond consumer amateurs, It's been hard for us to know. Check out the stone below:
It is 58 table, 61.5 depth, 35/40.8

Looks great. And it is very similar to my wife’s diamond. Hers has these stats and we LOVE it (we are ok with it hiding a tiny bit of weight in a slightly thick girdle):

It too has good symmetry like your stone. I think you found a great diamond there!
