I have been searching for *just the right stone* now for 2 months. (princess-true square, G, VS2 or higher. 1.2-1.5ct)
I have it down to two, one I have seen, and one on paper. Please look over the following share your thoughts.
Jeweler stone: 1.20 D VVS1 GIA
No fluor or culet,Very Good polish and symmetry, cant remember exact dimensions, but all within my parameters. $8700.00 (really nice stone) OR
Blue Nile stone: 1.31 G VS1 GIA
No fluor or culet,EXCELLENT polish and symmetry, Depth 67.8

L/W ratio 1.01
12.2 crown
GIA cert looked good from site. $8725.00 (and no tax
On hold for me right now.
I started out wanting a two carat princess but have compromised size for quality. Since I am rather tall and have long fingers, I feel that the larger stones look nicer on me (1.40-1.50) but I will go down in size to get **the** stone.
Any advice, thoughts? Your help is greatly appreciated.
