Ok, so I put some of jewelry in a cup with a denture cleaner tablet! I put my silver DBTY necklace in it and it came out looking like it was living on the bottom of the sea for 100 years. When I take a polishing cloth to it, it comes clean but I can''t get in all the crevices and bezels.

SHould I take it back to Tiffany''s and see if they can do something about it or is there something I can do at home? I don''t want them to look at me like I''m an idiot but I fully accept that that was an idiot move.

Taking it to Tiffany is the easiest. However, I once purchased tarnish remover from the LA jewelry district. You just dip your jewelry in the liquid and everything disappears - works like magic!

I would also try liquid tarnish remover, works really nice for intricate dining silver!

my T&C necklace tarnishes if I even spray Tilex within the vicinity--- don''t fret! liquid tarnish remover will work wonders! but yes, you can also have T&C do it. It''s not ruined!

Is it diamond? or Aqua??? I know their DBTY comes in more than just diamonds now :)

I would bring it to Tiffany. And don''t ever do that again. :P

I have used tarnish remover with jewelry with aquamarines. Had no issue.

That is too bad. I would try the tarnish remover - I am sure Tiffany''s can clean it up too.

Tarnish remover will work. The one thing about Tiffany necklaces (in my experience) is they tarnish rather quickly.

you''ll be ok. Like other''s said, tiff is easiest, but tarnish remover will work fine...
