we, the public, have decided that any choices a public figure makes is how we''re going to judge him/her in everything what s/he does. I don''t see the connection between being a great golfer and cheating on your wife. yes, it''s an extremely immoral thing that he''s done and I feel pity for his poor wife, but that wouldn''t stop me from appreciating him as a professional athlete.
I don''t know... I mean how would we all like it if we were continually judged about a wrong decision we once made which had nothing to do with our careers?
then again, if you were a pedophile I would not support any of your actions no matter how good you were at your job, so I guess people feel this way to varying degrees.
