1 carat 6.5mm LGD custom set in black rhodium plated 10k gold.
The bail is large to allow for gothy style options.
So far it’s been paired with black leather, black silk cord, and a black steel chain.
The black steel chain is my favorite.
The color is a medium grey. For reference the AVR next to it is a G.
The asscher in the next pic is F; the rose cut is a soft salt and pepper grey for comparison.
Impossible to get neck shots on camera that show the color. But so far it has looked sweet with black blouses, purple t-shirts, and deep color jackets.
Verdict: Well worth the small amount of money spent to get a less-common but still sturdy fashion piece. I like it better than my grey moissanite, which looks like badly cut frozen dirty dishwater. This diamond sparkles nicely and has more fire than my grey spinel. Would not recommend this diamond as an important purchase, though — if you want lots of rainbows from a dark stone you should try higher quality dark grey moissanite first and you will probably pay more.
Special thanks to @DejaWiz and @Rhino whose advice here and on YouTube of how NOT to buy a grey LGD inadvertently helped me find the grey LGD that I really wanted. (Hint: look for cheap LGD in low colors.)
Thanks for looking!
