Thank you for the continued lovely responses! I appreciate all of your support so much, and of course of all the CA residents voting "no" on 8.
kittybean- Thanks! That is so good to hear. The poll numbers are looking a bit less dismal this week, and the new commercials are awesome, so we''re in good spirits over here [although no less excited to elope no matter what happens!]
swimmer - Thanks for coming over! I always enjoy your posts in ATW.
I really hope CA smartens up over the next 2 weeks... otherwise, you''re totally right: my home state of MA will continue to be more progressive!
I
living in MA, but I can''t wait to move to CA next year and it will be nice to have our marriage recognized there! I do live in W. MA... S. Hadley. I am SO easily impressed when it comes to public transit because our local PVTA is pretty pathetic.
It makes Boston transit look top of the line, for sure. I am glad to hear the BART is fantastic.
gtn - Thanks so much for the suggestion! That is an awesome idea. I will definitely call the manager, and we''re probably going to wear our dresses around the city, including to dinner, which might help. Waiting in line wouldn''t be so bad, though... and late-ish on a weekday night might be less crowded than usual? Perhaps.
