Nope, I''ve never watched Super Nanny. I can''t stand badly behaved brats.

My absolute favourite British author is Noel Streatfeild (Ballet Shoes). Unfortunately, most of her work is out of print. I also like the Bagthorpe Family series by Helen Cresswell. You''d have to get that from England, though.

Score! Too ad I can''t buy one to read.

Thank you. I dropped it off at Leon''s today and am nervous that the design is not perfect.

I hate that feeling. I have redone many a ring getting things they way I want. I can''t wait to see the finished product.

OMG - it''s like I went to college with you ladies. I had a friend that used to ''pass gas'' really loud in public - look at me in disgust and say ''Marcy'' and walk off. All I could do was laugh.

I''m always that way when I drop something off and before I pick it up.

What would you have done at the museum?

I would have died laughing too. By the third one I might have blurted out something like "beans today, huh?"

I am an adjunct instructor at the local community college. I had a student one time in a wheel chair with an attitude. He used to come to class drunk. He was always trying to set up in front of my desk blocking the isle for people to get out of the room. He was always late too. I would have to stop my lecture and ask him to move so in case of a fire people could get out. Also while I was talking he would roll his wheel chair around and really distract the class. The worst distraction was he would go out in the hall and come back in to class all the while holding the door open and the wheel chair would be beating on the door. So I finally said something that if anyone leaves the classroom they shouldn''t come back in until after the next break. Bad mistake. That night about every 5 minutes he lets one fly. This is why I am lecturing. It was very hard for me not to start laughing everytime he tooted. Certainly one of my more memorable nights at school.

It would depend on my mood but yes sometimes I might say something - nothing rude just a comment. As for when I find myself in a stinky situation - it depends if I know the person whether I would say anything but either way I try to get the heck out of there. I just love that at work when you get in to the elevator and it stinks. Sometimes I wait for the next "ride".

That''s great the lady designing your ring is using a potato as a model - she needs to make something like a Mr. Potatohead and stick gemstones all over it to make a face.

One of my favorite things to do is mess with salesmen.

When we were buying a car one time we filled out the paper work and the saleman was going to go do the credit check so right before he leaves the little "cube" I tell him if we see everyone rolling around on the floor laughing we''ll understand and just leave. Boy did he get nervous.

The kids are much better. Thanks for asking. The boys just had a cold, but, Chimper had a funky virus that gave her a very sore throat and fever...One night of 103 degrees! She''ll be off to school tomorrow, I think. I don''t want to speak too soon! I had an injection of antibiotics that should help my tooth. The dentist will have another look in two weeks. We''ll talk about extracting it or just leaving it and lasering off some of the surrounding gum tissue that is causing the problem. We''ll see. It hurts like the dickens, though. I''m not especially pleasant when I''m in pain, lol! The mood is so foul in my house that DH brought cake and flowers home in an effort to cheer me up! BAH - Never a dull moment...Enough of my unpleasantness!

Tsavorite and diamond melee. Sounds beautiful! Will you have a halo around the stone? Did you decide on yellow gold? I really can''t wait to see it finished!

I do have a potato and a bunch of lose gemstones. I'll have to see what I can come up with this weekend. None of them are "big" gemstones but there is always the cluster look.

ETA: You know if I do make a Mr. Potatohead this weekend those gemstones are so getting soaked in the US and steam cleaner.

Generally, yes. Our typical conversation is "what''s for dinner?" and my response is "poison" then the I get the ice cubes down my shirt. When I pack our lunch I use a sharpie and write "poison" on Marty''s food. I just crack myself up.
