Official visit to Canada and Gifts for Kate & William

No stranger to sparkly, Kate received some distinctly Canadian bling while touring with Prince William this week.

Signifying "mutual respect and affection," a 4.5 carat platinum and pave diamond brooch in the shape of the official polar bear logo of Canada's Northwest Territories was given to Kate by the regional government on July 5. It was coupled with a set of 2.48 carat cufflinks for William in the same design.

Am I correct in assuming this was made by Harry Winston and that Harry Winston is a Canadian company?

I'm curious.

I could be totally wrong but I think I remember reading this somewhere recently.
