FYI: The photos were taken on stark white paper, if that explains anything about the color.
Thanks again for any comments.

I did see that one, DS, as I watch that vendor. It is really white, but I think I'm kind of stuck on this one.

Yes, i am hoping for the crown style perhaps a little less ornate than the ebay example. Reprodution is fine.
Ds, i've been folowing your hunt. I love diamonds and jewelry probably as much as anyone but am not so adventurous as you and the other ps stars. When it comes to diamond adventures, i will live vicariously through you all. It's been fun.

I have no idea of your budget but I saw this OEC that looks like it has potential at 7mm and it is EGL H color:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-85ct-VINTAGE-OLD-EUROPEAN-CUT-DIAMOND-H-VS1-1-60ct-18K-SIMON-G-ENGAGEMENT-RING-/400470541112?pt=Diamond_Solitaire_Rings&hash=item5d3de78338

I'd be interested in myself if I weren't in the midst of trying to buy another stone!

Oh, wow, what an awesome OEC! That perfect Kozibe effect...so rare! Reminds me of that warm 5c honker on GOG.

I like the one that AnnaH is choosing too but just had to comment on the faceting of the stone on DZ.

A, actually my diamond has that effect, although none of the photos show it. I only see it under a loupe. I guess you would have to have a really big diamond to see it otherwise.

Not everyone loves the kozibe effect. I do though.

I love kozibe and culets. They make me giddy, and I'm not even sure why!

Cool AnnaH! Your stone is awesome.

Based on an older post on PS i believe the Kozibe effect shows a quality cut.

I noticed that most of the new AVR's have the Kozibe effect.

Yes, A, I'm loving this stone more and more. Major sparkle. I was looking at settings, and a local gemnologist said it was graded accurately, although it seemed whiter than a K to him. Now for the setting.
