OEC and aset image help needed

I’m looking for a 10mm OEC and Parks Fine Group has posted 4 on IG for my review. I don’t know how to copy or link from IG here, sorry. I’m terrible at reading aset images and would love to hear if any of the 4 are “must sees”. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi kgizo is it their most recent post? It's sort of hard to tell with all 4 in the pics and it sort of cuts off the first and last one. It would be better if they could do it one at a time and slowly so we could see the facet pattern better.

From my best guess the first and last one are out. I dont like the facet pattern and it seems like too much leakage.

For ASETs:
Red is excellent light return
Too much Green means low brightness
Blue is good contrast and symmetry
Too little blue is poor contrast


The 3.76 has some promise but it might be the center being too much off and too much on at the same time. Meaning the center might have all the facets off at once and I don't care for that. But would need to see a slower and better video of it in action.
I would also like to see the 3.96 in a video by itself. Might have promise.

@missy - Thanks for hte feedback. I’ll ask for a vid of the 3.96. I also don’t care for facets all on or off (I returned one just for that reason).

@missy, @LLJsmom and @jnp - Thanks for your input! I got better videos of the 3.96 and the 3.76. Both were pretty stones with nice facet patterns, but neither was quite right for me. So, the search continues.
